Pups are knocked out. They had a very upsetting day, having to stay outside while strangers worked in their house.

The paternal wiring mishap was apparently easily fixed. The rough project was the ceiling fan--cathedral ceiling in older home, so no groundwork was laid beforehand. That meant drilling and cutting into the wall and running wire and installing an outlet, and while some things are visible that wouldn't be visible in the newer home, it still looks nice. I just need to paint a wiring cover that runs along the central beam.

Now I wait for the roofer's estimate.
