ksmithFirst load of laundry in the dryer. The second is presoaking. After that's done, I will be caught up.
Pikes Peak roast in refrigerator, marinating in beer. I've read conflicting reports about the value of beer in tenderizing tougher cuts, but the recipe for Pikes Peak roasts on the Bastrop website said to use beer, so beer I used. I'll roast it tomorrow with potatoes and maybe spinach.
It's a cool, cloudy day, more May than July. Pedicure Day. My toes are now a spring green shade, which looked much brighter in the bottle than it does on the nails.
One of my peppers is apparently a jalapeno, not a regular sweet, with one long pepper growing out the top.
I'll be seeing Half-Blood Prince next week. Looking forward to it.
