Thunder

Lightning. Two dogs at my feet. I tried bringing them both up on the couch with me, but that didn't work. Gaby was fine, but King tried to climb atop the back of the couch. I don't know what he thought that would accomplish, since he wouldn't exactly be hiding in that location.

Anyway. The storms look very nasty. I took down all the hanging baskets in case of high winds, and am keeping my fingers crossed that the power stays on.

Love those Midwest summers.
