Vs. Celtics. Game 6. 118-118, headed for the third overtime.

In other news, the Hawks are losing 0-3, late in the 2nd period. *dammit*

BULLS WIN, 128-127.

They're heading back to Boston.

This Bulls/Celtics series is insane. Both teams are so evenly suckish. :)

The Celts's record was 62-20; the Bulls were .500.

I'm no expert, but I'm not seeing sucky basketball. The Bulls do make the little mistakes at the damnedest times, but they're young. Is the Celts' excuse that Garnett is out?

Losing Garnett radically changes their team.

It's exciting basketball, but very sloppy. Neither team has played a lot of defense in this series. If Garnett was healthy, the Celtics would have won it in 5 games.

As far as inter-city rivalries go, you are welcome to this one. I find spectator-basketball (as opposed to playing-basketball) incredibly repetitious and boring. Up and down and up and down the court . . .

I'm not the greatest b-ball fan. But it's the playoffs and I will follow the Bulls until they're out of it.

The -other- other thing that always burns a bit, the little pro basketball I've watched, is that I used to play the game. And our high school coach would have dumped you from the team if you couldn't make eight out of ten free-throws . . .
