I think the rain stopped. It looks brighter outside, and all I hear is the drippy rattle in the gutters. It's supposed to be quite windy this afternoon, though, so it will feel like rain until the water blows out of the branches.

Wish it was Saturday afternoon still. I wish Saturday afternoons lasted for weeks.

Whereas I'm waiting for the rain to start. First day of hot and muggy. Wind is blowing good. The storm is about 30 miles away and looks to be a big one.

If it's anything like the one we had, you'll wonder when it will end.

About an hour after it "stopped," one final line of showers pushed through. Just wanted to say goodbye, I guess. More rain tomorrow. I don't know how the ground will absorb it all, but the leaves are budding like mad. I can see the difference between Friday and today.

Storm finally hit. Now that we're in the rain belt, I expect it to last most of the night (the storm is a giant line, and is moving mostly in the direction of the line). I'm trying to tell myself that is good, as tomorrow is the inspection for the house we're trying to buy. We're going to see exactly how well the basement stands up flooding.
