The ground is finally drying out. The grass is greening. My crocuses are opening.
You guys may get less. We lucky souls up near the border are the ones slated to get pounded. The guy on Channel 7 estimated 4.5 inches for Gurnee, with amounts lessening as you went south.
The Winter Storm Watch for the far western counties has been cancelled--now they're under Winter Weather Advisory as well. The snow estimate has been backed down to 1-3 inches, possibly 4. I'm close to the lake, so we still have sunshine.
I hope this damned thing fizzles because I don't want to spend any more time shoveling.
Right now I think weather.com is saying we'll start getting snow around midnight when the temperature falls of a cliff. I know Kalamazoo is already getting rain, so I suppose that's possible.
But yeah, ditto. Don't want to shovel any more, don't want to drive through any more.

It's shaping up to be a crummy week.
