One more thing

Bits of tennis ball can remain in a dog's stomach for 15 hours before said dog vomits them onto the living room rug.

I thought I got it away from him in time...

You are lucky he ejected the tennis ball fragments. I knew a dog who had some pieces of tennis ball removed after about 18 months in the stomach. It caused a general IBS-type situation that was resolved after surgery.

Damn dogs. They like to find all sorts of ways to mess with us. ;)

I'm lucky he hasn't had to have an operation to remove something. It doesn't help that he's prone to gastritis.

So I buy him special food for large dogs with sensitive tums, and he eats tennis balls. When he was younger, he ate washcloths.

Times like that, you wonder how they survive. Sorry he's being a dingbat dog.
