Yes, I am happy that they won. Not going to give it back.

But I still think that shoot-outs cheapen the often well-played games that came before.

Not crazy about sudden death, either.

No reason to give it back. Your boys earned it.

I liked the old system better, where they played sudden death OT for four minutes and if they were still tied at the end, that was it and both teams got a point. It's different in the playoffs, where there needs to be a clear winner and they have extra periods until someone scores. But during the regular season? I see no reason why there can't be ties.

Ditto on ties. Same holds for football -- at least the college-level rules give both teams an equal chance . . .

Keep OT and SO for playoffs.
