I want to know why, every time I step up my workout and start to see results, some part of my body decides to go wonky.

::adjusts icepack on back of right calf::

Yanno what's funny? The reason I started walking on inclines was so I could take the pressure off my knees. Now my knees feel good...but the right calf, not so much.

Yes, I warm up. The area has never been particularly tight. I could always do the stair stretch thing pretty easily.

I am...ticked.

Yah, this is very true. Another simple and equally annoying explanation is some bodies are finicky and insist on all around performance... so just one kind of exercise ticks them off.

I like working out at home so much--I can do it at my convenience, and it doesn't matter what I look like. But I think my legs are rebelling against high impact. That may mean swimming or ellipticals, and that means I will need to join a club.

My legs are usually fairly happy with some combination of walking, biking and swimming. My arms want free weight work to go with that.
