Just watched Neil Gaiman on The Colbert Report.

He was good. I've seen guests overwhelmed by hosts like Colbert and Jon Stewart, but Neil more than held his own. Wasn't on long enough, though. A few minutes at most.

His father died last week...March 7. He found out right before an appearance in NYC and kept going. Felt he had to, with the crowd there waiting, and that having it to do actually helped. Be sure to look at the sffnet obit column for links to his blog on it. VERY gracious.
