It's already close to 50F outside. The snowmelt is rattling down the gutters and forming lakes in the backyard. It's supposed to remain this mild until the end of the week, which means everything will melt and the mud will be horrific. Oh well, I have the dog towels stacked by the backdoor.

It's windy, too. This afternoon, I'll throw in another sweater, then open windows and let in the fresh air. I know it's way too early to think "SPRING", but I'll take what I can get.

But the mud. Damn. Sometime this weekend, I will need to patrol the backyard and clean a month's worth of you-know-what. But hey, I am the proud owner of Wellie-type boots, black with pink doggies. I shall prevail!

It is supposed to be 60ish here and opening the windows will be the first thing I do tomorrow. I am ridiculously looking forward to it.

With you as my inspiration, I've just opened the window in my home office for the first time this year. There's like sun and stuff. The thermometer might even make it to 50 by the end of the day. Yay.

It's close to 60F here, and sunny. Windy, too. I have a headache thanks to the sudden change, and the dogs become a muddy mess when they go outside. But the fresh air is very nice.
