Thanks to everyone for their congratulations. It was a great way to start the week.

I am sick of Winter, so sick that I opted for a pink LJ theme with flowers to cheer myself up. Yesterday's expected blizzard proved a fizzle--an inch of snow, and the winds died to below blizzard levels. But we're supposed to get snow tonight and through the day tomorrow, and I'm not sure how much we'll get here. 2 inches? 6 inches?

Then comes the cold, and the 30F below zero wind chills. Only until the weekend, but still.

Gaby's spiff new bed arrived today. She won't lie in it. I think I'm going to have to take her old bed away to force the issue. Maybe this weekend, when I'm home. I don't want to upset her.

I hate to admit that I'm a little jealous of the snow. We have yet to see a measurable snow here, near the Mason Dixon line.
