Comfy for now

King is sacked out on his new bed. Gaby is dozing. I'm watching KO until 730 and the Blackhawks pre-game. All is peaceful.

The snow is supposed to start around 5-6am. It will continue off and on until Saturday morning. The current estimate is 5-8" in my neck of the woods. Of course, the roads are currently clear and there's only an inch or so on the ground. It was nice while it lasted.

Expecting a revision letter tomorrow or early next week, which will ring down the curtain on my mental vacation. It was nice while it lasted, too.

Thanks. I'm a rereader by nature, and am disappointed when I come across a book that I know I will never revisit. It's good to know that there are things in my books that some folks want to go back to.

I have, as you may have guessed, not gotten through the draft as soon as I'd have liked. I am apparently terrible at estimating how much time for critical reading I'm actually going to have over weekends and/or holidays, so I got a later start on it than I'd anticipated. I'm now well past the halfway point though, and I hope to have you my notes early next week.

Oh, and I like it a lot so far, and think the current version feels stronger than the partial I read previously. Nice job!

Thanks--I'm glad it's working better. I felt it worked better, but sometimes my opinion isn't the one that counts.

I'm not really ready to return to Book Brain, but I'm going to have to. Like Vacation Brain.
