I'm listening to an old CD of Horowitz playing Scarlatti, Beethoven, and Chopin and working off and on (with many whines and moans, because this part is HARD) to get some scrambled chapters unscrambled. These are things written early in the year, and while traveling--three paragraphs in this airport, one in that hotel, kind of thing--and there is major suckage. But it has to be done, and sooner better than later.
Now I need to turn the laptop off and force myself to work *steadily* (I hate steadily...) And a damn gnat just flew in my ear and it's buzzing....ARHHHHHGH
I would've spent all evening cursing the book for keeping me from doing more on the campaign. Instead, I spent it cursing the book for not telling me upfront what it's telling me now. Fought my way through a whole two chapters of tangle, wrote quite a bit of connective tissue to hide the fact that limbs had been left bleeding stumps.
I need more time. I don't have it. Back to the grindstone, o nose. I'm on the road tomorrow, so need to pile in the wordage today. It would be the supposed protagonist's POV strand that's the worst...
