Not as much on the word count front as I wished, but some plot adjustment did dump into the frontal lobes this morning, so I will be editing tonight before I push forward.

I didn't watch the debate itself--it wasn't going to change my mind. Which isn't to say I left it alone--Bad Kris. Should've been writing. Instead, I popped back and forth between blogs and watched clips. Biden did well, apparently.

The Cubs didn't do well, apparently. Oh well--Book Panic has pretty much taken me over, so it doesn't bother me as much as it might otherwise. Maybe that makes it sound as though I'm not a true fan, I don't know. But I've shed tears over them in the past. I'm not going to do that anymore.

Over the past few days, the air has had that autumn snap. It's energizing.

Gotta get ready for the day.

I’ve been interviewing people in Silicon Valley since 1994, and if someone tried to use Sarah Palin’s rhetorical tactics when applying for a job, I would flush them from the schedule immediately to avoid wasting the time of my coworkers.

I don't know how she got elected for governor. I'm guessing smaller venues, more control on her part, not as much media interest and exposure. Maybe her opponents lacked.

It's supposed to get back into the 70s by Monday. Maybe those few tomatoes I have on the vine will ripen by next weekend. Maybe. Damn, they're slow.

We are supposed to get rain later this weekend. I wish I could send it your way because I don't think we need it.

Palin may be facing Troopergate fallout later this month. It will be interesting to see what that final report concludes.
