Question about Columbia Tower/Center

Specifically, the parking garage--is it located reachable via the elevators one ses to go to the upper floors, or is it a detached garage. I have a feeling it's the former, but I need to confirm, since that will dictate whether protag takes a walk in the rain (and sees something Important) because she wants to or because she has to.

The building has a Wikipedia entry, and I even found a review of the parking garage (not kind), but no specifics about location of the garage.

It's not a detached garage, but you use a different set of elevators to get to it. All elevators going up are in a triangle in the central column, and there are 2 other elevators going down to the north and south parts of the parking lot -- which is directly under the building.
