I try to limit myself to wonkdom. I’ll pay avid attention to matters of policy and trying to figure out the right decision to make, but I don’t spend much time looking at the actual horse race beyond what I see on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and The Rachel Maddow Show.

I need to reclaim those two hours in the evening until I get the book done, and it's painful. Withdrawal. Gah.
