Embrace the faff!
Aug. 15th, 2008 06:23 amFaffing is completely harmless, whereas its opposite - dynamic, purposeful activity - is often very harmful. Faffers do not tend to kill people or make them work 12-hour days or sell them shoddy merchandise or lend them vast sums of money that they cannot pay back.
So, Faff Off! The life you save may be someone else's, after which you can pat yourself on the back and go have a lie-down. You deserve it. It's Friday morning, after all. Followed by Saturday, which is an official Faff-Off day. Although I tend to think Sunday is the worst--make that the BEST--day for faffing because nothing puts the skids on productive activity more than the promise of a Busy Week Ahead.
