I first heard this song earlier this afternoon, courtesy of a Reebok commercial. Heard it again about 15-20 minutes ago. Went online. Found it in about 30 seconds. Hunted on iTunes--found it and bought it. Then I found the lyrics. Then I found the chords.

ghod, I love the internets. I also love this song. Train Song by Vashti Bunyan. First released in May 1966.

Did it catch your ear, too?

It's currently stuck in my head. :)

This is not surprising since I have a great love of 60's British folk/pop.

I should be shocked that it was in a Reebok commercial, but nothing surprises me after Nick Drake's Pink Moon got used in that VW commercial.

I've found the song for this book. It's so right on so many levels.

I'm hearing the best music in commercials, esp. car commercials.

The real shame is that you now hear better music in commercials than on the radio.

That's a great song for a book. Music is a big deal for my writing. My novel was very much shaped by a few Neko Case songs.
