Tomatoes

I'll be trying to grow three different varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Black Crimson, because it stated specifically that they're suitable for deck containers. Sunset Red Horizon, because it was stated in the blurb that they're frost-resistant.

Then there are these Tobolsk, which they threw in as a bonus. I've never tried yellow tomatoes, but I'll see how they grow.

I grew the Black Crimson last year. Yummy! My very favorite tomatoes are the yellow pears. But I've never tried the Tobolsks.

I'm up with a tired back today. I finally got my garden in yesterday. Only 8 weeks late. I had to give up on planting sweet peas and spinach this year. It's just too late. But our spring has been so cool, I'm not that late with the beans and squash and corn, and I've missed only a week or two of mesclun season, which I adore.
