The trick to vacuuming cats is to have central vacuuming in your house so the noise doesn’t scare them. I knew one woman who had a cat who would chase down the housekeeper while she was vacuuming; the housekeeper would say “Assume the position!” and this big fluffy ginger tabby would sprawl out on his back, and she’d vacuum him. Happy kitty.
