Shoes, in this case. My first pair of Earth shoes, and my, are they comfy.

I brought brown pants, but since I packed l/i/k/e/a/t/w/i/t at the last minute, I didn't bring shoes that matched. I was concerned about my arch, which is feeling better and which I don't want to feel worse, so I packed sneakers and other ultra comfy shoes. Being one who trends toward the black/grey/cool end of the spectrum, I didn't pack any brown shoes even though. Brown pants.

So as soon as I settled in the room, I hiked to the show store closest the hotel. I didn't pick out this style right away, but they didn't have the one I wanted in my size. Shoe guy suggested the Solar. I put them on, and my, are they comfy. Arch feels great. They look nice, too, but. No pain.

I'm such an old biddy. It's all about the arches.

I hear ya. I had to give up my 3+ inch heels, because they were wreaking havoc with my knee. :-\

I last wore a 2-inch heel last winter. It was a challenge. I can't recall the last time I wore a 3-inch or more.

I used to wear them all the time--I *liked* standing close to 6-feet tall. But those days are gone.

Just back from dinner. My arch feels about 98% back to normal. Started out the day in MBTs, but I've worn the Solars since I got them and it's love.

Shoes are good. Me, I bought my first Crocs: two pair actually, one sandal for dress (honestly!) and one dressy enough for work with black slacks (with good arches). They are comfy but more very light weight.

Hope you have a great time!
