Bathing smelly dog.

At least it wasn't full immersion. Oneside of neck and shoulder, which was all he was able to push into the pile of crap before I stopped him.

And collar. Will need to wash the collar.

ah... dogs... on a road trip in the early 70's from Arizona to Minnesota, at a rest stop in Texas with no water, our beagle found fresh flops of undetermined large animals to completely roll in. 2 hrs to the town we had a motel reservation in, and I got relegated to dog control duty in the far back - my mom doused her (the dog) with cologne after we'd gotten what we could off with water from the the picnic cooler, we had her wrapped in an old towl to keep car contamination at a minimum, and dog went into motel shower ASAP... but... yrrgh! major sympathy.

I've washed the area twice. The smell has been reduced from Eau my Gawd! to dirty socks.

May give it another shot later.
