So, is he going to be a powertool or hand tool wood worker? If power tool does he prefer Delta, Jet, Powermatic or Laguna? Does he use his garage, or did he build an extra space on to the in-laws quarters just for the woodworking stuff, or is it his profession?

Does he have a Rockler or Woodcraft in his area, or does he order from Lee Valley?

Does he specialize in a specific time period/ style (Chippendale, Arts & Crafts)?
