Some time ago, someone directed me to a link to some Javascript--or something--that converted white text on black background to black text on white. I lost that link when my iBook went kablooey, and I haven't been able to find it again. Does anyone know where to find something similar?

Because I am not going to try to read websites with white text on black. After a minute, my eyes start vibrating.

UPDATE: FOUND IT!!!! Merciful Zeus.

Look for the "zap colors" script. For a Mac, Cntrol-mouse click should give you the option to add it to your Bookmarks folder. I added mine to the menu bar.

I have to bow out of one discussion because I could not read the screen after the first few lines; I had bad enough light-burn from reading those =/

I don't know if it's due to my astigmatism, or what, but I start squinting, then tilting my head. Then the letters start throbbing.

That linkety was sooo nice. I kept it in my Bookmark Bar, and every time I came across a light text on dark website, I just clicked the link and *bingo*, something I could read without screaming.

Thank you! (I just dragged the link to the button bar, and that worked, and it works so I could actually read things :D

Of course, on a Mac you can also just hit CTRL-OPT-CMD-8, and the page you are looking at inverts colors. Just repeat the keystroke to undo it.

I didn't know that--thanks. I first picked up the Javascript thingie on a Mac list, and at least a few folks there should've known about the command, I'd have thought.

Mac commands always seem to require 4 keys. At least this one doesn't make your fingers cramp from the contortions.
