Gotta haircut. Went in for a trim--my cutter was finishing up a client, so I spent a few minutes in the waiting area. Picked up one of the stylebooks to pass the time, and found a style I really liked. Asked my cutter if it would work with my hair, and she said Yes! She likes giving folks new styles, so she was almost as excited about the change as I was.
When 20-somethings with purple bobs tell you that you've got a good cut, you've got a good cut.
Looks good with the clunky black glasses, too.

Anyway, now it's 'cover the grey' time. I don't have much yet, but what I do have bugs me. Nice 'n' Easy's Natural Medium Neutral Brown, which is the long way of saying that we're not getting real adventurous here.

Date: 2004-07-08 06:44 pm (UTC)The hair color wasn't what I expected--a little more red than I wanted, not the bronze that was on the box. It supposedly did the highlighting thing at the same time as the color thing, and maybe it did. Also, leave it to me to look for grey coverage and not notice that the stuff inside is Level 3--Permanent color. I wondered why the smell was so strong as I was putting it on. Then I actually read the box...
So now I'll have to deal with roots, damn it. At least with this short cut, I won't have to deal with them for long.
FYI,
