Enough already

Another pelting of snow expected. I thought most of it would have fallen by now, but it's apparently going to come in two waves. The first wave is past, and we have only a couple of inches to show for it. The second wave, which could bring snow totals in my area to a foot or more, will come through tomorrow. Could snow through the evening, which means that I may be shoveling Thursday morning.

I would laugh if it missed us completely, or only dumped a couple of inches. I mean, they're talking 20 inches in Milwaukee. They are worked up over this thing.

Took what I'd written so far and trimmed and hacked as I watched the primary results. Then managed to doze off for an hour or two. Woke up in time to watch Obama's speech in Chicago. "We are who we've been waiting for." Hope I got that right. Damn, it's nice to listen to someone who knows how to speak.

you get snow, we get 50 degree weather and pouring rain. i think you got the better deal.

every time we get worked up over a storm it takes a sudden left and heads to PA.

It's snowing now. They upped the amount we're supposed to get to 12-14"--the old number was 9-12". And it's not supposed to stop until tonight, which means I'll either be shoveling in the dark or with the sunrise.
