Hey, it's research, isn't it?

Hours spent at crimelibrary.com looking up historic murder cases and strange crimes and such? I've spent hours on the site before, reading and reading. Sometimes the writing style is a tad florid, but the cases themselves are interesting.

Rained all afternoon and it's still raining now. I found to my dismay that I didn't clean out the front gutter as well as I thought I did. It really doesn't take much to plug one of those things, does it?

Well, tomorrow's my birthday. Hoping that the rain stops by the afternoon so I can grill steaks.

And yea, both these comments showed up in my email box. Hope this means all is settled.

It occurred to me that I might not receive comments I sent to myself. Makes sense in one respect, but doesn't allow for quick testing. Oh well.

Thanks!

And this reply got through, too--*yes*!

Oh well, off to get the paper and such.

Happy birthday! It must be cool to have the Government to give the day off on your birthday :)

And another country heard from--looks like LJ is back on track.

Yeah, a paid vacation day for my birthday is cool. The parades and fireworks are even better.

Isn't that a cool site? I've found lots of nifty info there.

It's addictive. And it's not exactly like it's an upbeat site, either.

Spent too much time reading about Gilles de Rais and Elizabeth Bathory.

I will note that your comment didn't hit my email. Rats.
