Life is rife with coincidence--I know this. Still creeped me out a bit to receive, on this my late Mom's b-day and the first b-day since her death, a MySpace Friend invitation from someone called "mom is still watching u".

No, there isn't anything weird about it--I checked. Just another over-decorated MySpace page assembled by someone who friends writers.

The message header certainly took me aback for a moment. It was also about a year ago that Mom started feeling ill, so memories are occasionally dropping by. There are times when it's good to be busy.
