I just sent in my programming questionnaire--we'll see how it goes. I don't want to be on panels, but I would like a reading/signing/kaffeeklatsch if possible. Volunteered to be a pair of hands at the art show.
I think I just want to camp out at the main bar and people-watch. See folks I haven't seen in a few years. And maybe go to a ballgame.
I thought I had seen in one of the Denvention posts that they might be arranging for tickets. But I don't see why a bunch of us just couldn't go on our own.
Mmmm...baseball. I catch a Rockies game on my regular June trip to Denver sometimes, but missed last year. (Missed the June trip altogether, that is.) I'm up for a game!
Over the course of the con, they're playing the Nationals and the Padres. No real preference, though if Maddux is pitching (and still pitching for the Pads by then), I'd like to see that.
It would be nice to meet you as well! In fact, that has a lot to do with why I want to go, it's the perfect chance to meet a great many LJ folk at once. :)
I was tossing the coin today, but decided to go. Never been to Denver. Want to see folks. WFC falls at a bad time--day job may be kicking up around then.
I'm sure the key to preserving our relationship will be my staying in a con hotel :-)
Going to try for the Marriott Courtyard-- alas it looks like I'll have to put in some hours for the day job while in Denver, and the Courtyard has free high-speed internet in the rooms, which is a must.

Sounds perfect. It would be great to see you again; it's been a year or two...

The best rate and location combo seems to be at the Crowne Plaza, which looks to be halfway between the convention center and the party hotel.

I'm sorry you'll have to bring the day job with you. I'm hoping I don't have to bring mine.

Are you coming to Wiscon this year?

Or, I should say, unlikely.
