I should have known better. Nine hundred ninety-nine times out of a thousand, cars traveling through that particular intersection continue straight on. But then there's that one time, when they slow, and turn right.

It would've been a nice gesture on the part of the FedEx driver, however, if he had PUT ON HIS INDICATOR.

Yes, it snowed. Just a little. That grainy, sandy stuff that slicks the road up a treat and makes it a challenge to come to a stop.

Just prior to turning in front of me sans indicator, he had entered the main road from a side street when the proximity of oncoming traffic was such that he probably should've waited. Because he was driving a BIG HONKIN' DELIVERY VAN, not a Miata, a fact that apparently had slipped his mind.

IOW, not the most careful of drivers.
