Feminism and Romance
Oct. 16th, 2007 03:01 pmContrary to popular opinion, feminism and romance are not incompatible and feminism may actually improve the quality of heterosexual relationships, according to Laurie Rudman and Julie Phelan, from Rutgers University in the US. Their study* also shows that unflattering feminist stereotypes, that tend to stigmatize feminists as unattractive and sexually unappealing, are unsupported.
Not that some of us doubted it, but still.

So you find another relatively independent person who isn't intimidated by someone who thinks for themselves and before you know it, you have a functioning adult relationship. Which can be scary because you have to function and be an adult, but it's worth it in the end.
