Does one have to read all the books in order to read this last one? I have the first two but damned if I know where they are. This is one of the problems of having too many books.
OTOH, chris_gerrib had only read CI prior to reading ENDGAME, and he thought it could stand alone.
You get more out of any series when you read it in order. But I started the Vorkosigan books with MIRROR DANCE, and the Heris Serrano books with WINNING COLORS, and did OK.
Thanks! I knew I was missing #3 but had already told myself I musn't go to amazon.com for at least a month. Then again, I can wait and then go through all 4 later with no guilt. LOL
If she doesn't simply change a few lines, she's nuts. I will say that a good friend can finish a 100,000 word book in under two hours. She reads ALL the SF and Fantasy, adult and YA. And some mystery. No literary SF or F. But she has chronic illness and doesn't do a lot else.
I believe she makes a living by reviewing books, at this point. She used to be a columnist for a couple papers, though, and I can't actually find anything that says she's *not* anymore.

and Yay! I owe you a review. I was one of the lucky ones to get an advance copy, I've held off on bragging until I was sure I'd finish it in time.
About 1/2 way and I'm loving it!

She has for years--she reviewed RULES in 2000.
