I cleaned out a large portion of the kitchen cupboard this evening in order to get a handle on canned goods supplies and whatnot. These are old cupboards--very deep, with those waaayback corners that you need to practically crawl into the space in order to reach.
Found some stuff. A funnel I didn't know I had. Some neat cake pans. Two cans of sweetened condensed milk dated 1999.
What's the oldest thing you ever found in your cupboard?

Date: 2007-08-16 05:54 am (UTC)Not actually mine -- it was in W's pantry. He suspects his Ex kept it because of who canned it. Not knowing this, and her being long gone to Ohio, I casrefully placed the bomb in the trash.

Date: 2007-08-17 08:55 pm (UTC)1 can red chili beans from old college roommate, left behind in last college apartment, purchased circa 1984.
I do not dare open it. I believe it has had time for the contents to achieve sentience, and I think it may have plans for the world outside the walls of its cage.
Queue eerie music.
Fade to black.
