I'm stiff and sore from cleaning the bathroom. What can I say? It hadn't been very high on the list these past few months, and things built up. What started out as a "I think I'll just clean the counter" turned into scrubbing the tub/toilet inside and out, washing the floor, and cleaning out the cabinet under the sink and the medicine cabinet and lining the drawers and shelves with fresh shelf liner. And hanging a shower curtain. And putting out the new green mat and such. That's how a 20-minute job turned into about three hours.
The bathroom hasn't looked like this in years. It still is in dire need of a redo--nothing on earth can hide that awful yellow flooring--but it looks as nice as it can given what's there.
And thus did I find myself falling asleep when I sat down to try to write.
