ksmithI am way behind on f-list. I will never catch up.
The lawn is cut. After calling three lawncare companies and not hearing back, I mentioned something to one of the nurse's aides, who happens to live in the next town *and* belongs to a church with a youth group that mows lawns in the summer. If you wish, you can make a voluntary contribution to their annual trip fund, which I did.
One company did call back the next day, but the new arrangements had already been made.
Somehow, the young man who cut the lawn managed to do so in half the time it usually took me to do it. He also didn't need to refill the gas tank. I think this has something to do with teenaged legs, but I'm not sure.
