Monday
Stopped by the post office early this morning on the way to work. This particular PO is located in one of the posh towns along the Lake Shore, in which I'll find the odd vehicle that costs more than my house and houses that I can't even imagine being able to afford.
Shipped out my parcel, and on the way ran into one of those glossy men you sometimes see in these towns. Tall, 6'3" or so. Patrician face. Hair short and grey unto silver. Very tanned, trim, and fit, and looking about as dapper as one possibly can in a workout jersey, pull-on pants, and flip-flops. Think "Italian Count."
Worked as well as a cup of coffee to perk me up, oh yes it did. And yes, I am shallow. I'm not proud of it, but I admit it freely.

I can fake the accent, but that's about all I can fake, I suppose, so sue me :)
Not only those vehicles cost more than houses, but the monthly insurance might be higher than your yearly mortgage payment, if I could exaggerate somewhat.

But oh, what a view....

I know what you mean by outclassed. I try to not think about it. Sometimes reality just gets in the way.

Hey, that would perk me right up, too! :)
