No, I am not annoyed because I have somehow been affiliated with the Gnomes of Zurich, who sound like characters Dan Brown would come up with if he wrote skiffy. I am annoyed because the local station that is showing Buffy on Sunday nights has skipped from late Season 3 all the way to late Season 7. As in about two or three episodes left. As in what the hell happened to 3.8 thru 6.7??

I mean, if you have all the flipping eps in between, why not show them?

I emailed the station to ask if they're phasing out the Scoobies, although I'll be surprised if I get an answer.

Thing is, if I buy the DVDs, I won't be content with buying a season at a time. I will want all of them. And given that I have house expenses pupping all over the place, I really shouldn't blow the dough right now.

Other thing is, I have the willpower of kelp where things like this are concerned. Especially since I didn't get to see the End of Sunnydale High and the Mayor get his.

Yuck, that is very annoying. I hate it when they do that--also, sometimes they start re-running a series, get to the middle of the 3rd season and voila, next day, you get the pilot episode and it starts from ep 1 of season one and keeps going...

I had to wait for the re-runs to see the End of Sunnydale High, since I was over in Europe when they had the original two-episode finale, and over there they were a couple of seasons behind North America. Were good eps, hope you get to see them without breaking the bank by buying the whole series!

I'm having the same problem with Stargate SG-1. I want all the seasons, now. I nearly dropped fifty bucks of my very limited cash at Baghdad Airport a couple of weeks ago for a copy of Season 5, just because it was there. I think I have seen some Buffy hereabouts, as well.

Your birthday is on the horizon. Now is the time to start dropping hints: "Oh guys, your Favorite Author needs a Buffy fix. Do be sure to coordinate with each other so I don't get multiples of any of the seasons."

Of course, that might reduce the usual number of jewels, furs and expensive liquors that you are normally showered with, but isn't having Spike available 24/7 on DVD worth it?
