I am guessing that someone out there knows which were the popular/preferred verse forms for the 1830s/early 1800s? I could hunt around online, and will this evening, but I am at work, lunch hour is just about over, and verse forms are not the sort of thing that carry over into the dayjob.

Thanks. It's more about specific poets than forms of verse, but maybe I can use it.
