I remember once after getting all my hair cut off after years of a long wavy mane. I felt this strange, burning sensation back of my head & neck. Thought I was getting a fever. Turns out it was just sunlight on the neck for the first time in oh, 15 years or so.

This happened last summer, too. You'd think I would've remembered--I managed to really cook the back of my neck. But it felt so good to be outside.
