As you can see, I've changed my LJ scheme again. If my hair were long enough, I'd get it cut. Maybe I'll color it, just to get that change thing going.

Much of the junk that was atop the desk is now on the floor. Tonight we will sort and shred and toss.

I'm thinking of signing up for a My Space page--do you folks who have one find it worth the extra work?

<p> is code for a new paragraph, and will insert a double-space. Technically, you need to use a </p> at the end of it, but if you leave it off it generally won't hurt anything.

<br> gives you a single hard return.

I do know what you mean about the ads and other gizmos. Simon Haynes gave me a list of Firefox add-ons and settings that would filter most of that out, but I haven't tried 'em yet...

If you try the add-ons, and they work, please send them on. Because I would like to set up the page, but dang, those ads are ugly.

Also, how do you set up different backgrounds? difrancis set up her page to fit in with her website.
