I tend to pick up every meme and quiz that comes along.
>Also love your work. Picked up Law of Survival a year ago >in an airport bookstore. Read it until the binding gave way >and the pages fell out. Bought a replacement through amazon >and discovered I was a fool... and bought the other three >read them in the course of 7 days. Want them in hard cover.
You're the second person who's mentioned finding LAW in an airport.
Glad you enjoyed all the books. At this point, only CODE has a hardcover edition, which came out from SFBC. There is also a Russian edition from AST, but I don't know if that's still available.
>Your writing reminds me of my favorite fantasy author, PC >Hodgel. You both craft very vivid characters. As a military >man, I've worked for Jani's ancestors. I feel I know her. I >look forward to your future books and a chance to meet you >at a con one day.
I'm really glad to hear that Jani worked for you. Not having a military background, I had to wing it where her personality was concerned. I set out trying to construct a character who didn't belong in the Service, but I've run into enough ex and current military who think she fits in just fine. Just has a problem with authority is all.
>I'll stop now, lest I gush overmuch...
Oh, that's ok. Gushing is part of what keeps me in the office pounding the keyboard.
