gee

And here I was hoping my Tuckerization would crack $50...

ETA: And the final bid was $130.39, which was way cool. Thanks to everyone who bid!

It's a great feeling, isn't it :-) Many congrats - I can't wait to read the novel that contains the Tuckerization!

It could be a short story as well. I'd almost rather do short, since it could be *years* before a novel comes out. But we'll see. I know one of the parties bidding, and if they win, I already have a Plan...

I figured I'd give someone else a chance for once...I mean, I already have the red shirt. And I know you are tired of llamas.

;)

But I had it all plannned...

I could still write it. Depends on other peoples' antho plans, but still...

I promise, the next benefit tuckerization I won't hold back.

Sounds like that would be up there with another Muni tuckerization I had..."he likes to get all liquored up and play dodgeball with the passengers, with the bus as the ball."

Feel free to write it anyway, I'm sure you can find a worthy charity (?Miss Amy's Home for Wayward Llama Orphans?).

If it had worked out, it would have been another Caro & Jamie story--they're the 'housecleaners' featured in the light fantasy I sold to Julie Czerneda's MISSPELLED anthology. Their day jobs involve evicting minor demons from houses that are about to be put on the market, but sometimes someone they know gets into trouble, and they need to improvise.

This story would have involved a de-llamination of a friend in the transportation field. No liquor involved, except perhaps as an anesthetic...

And?!? Will your Nefarious Plan come to fruition? Or have you needed to hatch a new one? :-)

[identity profile] kristine-smith.livejournal.com 2006-12-14 02:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[livejournal.com profile] trolleypup didn't win, so I have to hatch a new plan for World Domination through Tuckerizations.

I haven't heard from the winning bidder. Not sure if I know them or not...

However, some of us don't bid against the Mad Bus Driver(TM), 'cause we hope to be led on the Ebisu pilgrimage someday.

This is probably wise, because one word to the chef and who knows what you'd wind up with...

There's some question about whether you get weirder stuff when I like you or not.

Wow. Go you!
