And so begins the vacation...
Heading up to Madison Wisconsin tomorrow for Wiscon. Looking forward to seeing friends and eating out, walking along State Street and doing something impetuous. Last year, it was hair--had 6-8" whacked off and had the remainder highlighted. Now the hair is back to brown and is as short as it's gonna get, so we'll have to try something else. A manicure, maybe. The claws need work.
I'll be taking the iBook, and I know that, as of last year at least, the Concourse didn't charge much for internet access beyond the dial-out charge. So I will try to post a trip report or two as I go--I forget too much when I wait until the end of the con.
I've packed copies of all 4 books in case one of the dealers in the hucksters room needs copies. I have topped off the bookstore bag with bookmarks, bookplates, and working pens. Now all I have to pack is the hoo-hum stuff like clothes and makeup.
