J5 cover inklings

I just heard from my editor that Chris McGrath will be the cover artist for J5.

She sent me the initial images. I refuse to jump to conclusions, but could be interesting.

looks like he does an oil painting/brush type of photo-realism -- edgy. Could be good. Hope for the best (I liked my first two covers at Warner, but the third (same artist) was pretty lame. Even the good ones occasionally misfire.)

Well--at the risk of speaking too soon--having seen the preliminary photos, I'm not too worried. It will follow the general style of the other covers.

Heh--we were just pondering On SFFNet what he might be able to do with Lucien, given this:
