Ignore that woman behind the keyboard!
Aug. 19th, 2006 07:31 pmTonight's feat will involve whittling and melding three 22-page Jani POV chapters into one 22-page chapter. I'm not sure I can do it. It may slop over into a chapter and a half, at which point I could fill in with one of the other two POVs, one of which has been particularly underused up to now. Except that I think it's going to have to be the other POV that's used.
Don't mind me--I sit on this ledge all the time. I even totter up and down it waving my arms and shouting imprecations to innocent passers-by.
I would really like to be on a sailboat in the middle of the lake about now.
Oh well...onward...

Yeah, right.
(Wait, wrong attitude. Think Christine in Pterry's Maskerade)
Right! she said brightly!!!
but it can be daunting when you're looking at the sheer quantity of changes that you currently face.
Tell me. It's like looking at a table filled with parts, and knowing that only about a third of them fit together to form the thing I'm building. My job? Figure out which third. Thing is, I can only do that after I figure out what I'm building. At least I know the last two lines of dialogue of the whole mess. Everything points to them. I just need to get there. She said. Brightly!?!
