1. Arrive at day job
2. Decide I want coffee
3. Go to communal coffee area
4. Find pot is empty
5. Make coffee
6. Go back to desk to await coffee. Start mucking about.
7. An hour later, think about how much I'd like a cup of coffee
8. Realize that I had already made coffee
9. Go to get coffee
10. See #4
11. See #5

This is one of the moments where I'm glad we have a cafeteria in my building. Granted, after 3 pm, you have to go to Tim Horton's or Starbucks (both of which are around the corner).

We actually do have a cafeteria right downstairs. But the regular coffee is horrid, and the Starbucks in the dispensers--the food service licensed the right to brew and sell the stuff--tends to sit too long.

We're doubly lucky then. The coffee is pretty good in our cafe. (I don't actually like Starbucks coffee at the best of times. :-)

Truth be told, my favored brand is a supermarket brand--8 O'Clock Colombian. Lovely rich flavor.

Sometimes--make that, *most* times, they over-roast Starbucks, and it gets somewhat skunky.

However, Starbucks Frappuccino frozen bars...mmmmmmm on a warm day.
