Didn't hit 1000 words, but I like what I have. In all honesty, not all the words are solid. Many may hit the bug light. Not the 1200 or so from the last few days, but much of the stuff from last week. I don't want to erase them until I absolutely have to, though, because I don't want the counter to go down. This counter feeds the neuroses that still need stoking after you've Googled yourself, pouted over your Amazon numbers, and checked Technorati to see of anyone is linking to your blog.
I mean, really, do I need anymore ways to pound myself into the ground?
8 rms, full bsmt
"You never saw 'Poltergeist', did you?"
"That was a movie."
"In my house, it was a training film."

Date: 2006-06-23 01:49 pm (UTC)My knees couldn't take it. I couldn't sit seize for very long because it killed my ankles. Our instructor allowed us to sit cross-legged if seize bothered us, but my knees still started bugging me too much, even with mats.

Date: 2006-06-23 02:14 pm (UTC)I'm sure it all depends on the flavor of the dojo. Most, from what I've seen on the web, are like your experience.
I'm due to go through my first demonstration (to get into a green belt instead of a white belt) sometime soon. So, I'm a rank beginner at the moment.

Date: 2006-06-23 08:13 pm (UTC)So I tracked down the link.
Not my blog--there is apparently a Kaygo on blogspot who posts in a language not English.
I think that in addition to being a made-up name, Kaygo is also a Japanese manga or anime term.
