Shoe-gazing? Emo? Slo-mo? Whichever. [livejournal.com profile] battle_of_one had mentioned Trespassers William in another post, and since I'm always looking for Music That Won't Distract Me Whilst I Write, I checked them out on iTunes. Liked what I heard, and bought Having last night. If the damned download hadn't been so slow**--it took over an hour to download the single album--I probably would have scooped up all their releases.

Listened to TW on the way in to work. The music was a perfect mesh with the weather, which was grey and cloudy, with a few drops hitting the windshield. It sounds a downer, but it really wasn't. I found it pretty relaxing.

**Yes, I have DSL, but things have been quirky lately. Friend on another list gave me a link to use to check my download speed.

Some randomly connecting neurons have produced the (possibly erroneous) information that Aberdeen is either the same group as Trespassers William, or some of the same people, or is otherwise related and/or similar.

Never heard of Aberdeen.

This is a new type of music for me, so I haven't heard of many of the musicians/bands.
