Date: 2004-05-04 12:08 am (UTC)The panel was all about myster and SF cross-genre stuff, which might have been a new topic for a panel back when Asimov wrote Caves of Steel, but I digress. ;) Can't remember who the other panelists were, but each took his or her turn introducing themselves and doing their personal little sales pitch... and then it gets to Senor Agento who proceeds to talk about you and a couple other clients of his for a good couple of minutes. The moderator follows his comments with something to the effect of "See, all of us are here selling ourselves, and here Senor Agento is talking about his clients." To which one of the other panelists responds: "Talking about his clients is selling himself." Or, again, something to that effect.
Wish I could remember in better detail, but most everything from that con has given way to memories of That Panel.
